WR Tester
In order to compare the effects of different sharpening methods,
we have developed the world’s only cutting test equipment, the WR Tester.
The WR Tester replicates the movements of the human hand with unprecedented accuracy and cuts a special test medium. During this time, it monitors the cutting process and measures the forces and torques that arise. Data collected by the measuring system is used to determine the Initial Sharpness Score ISS and the Sharpness Persistence Score SPS.
